Austrian midfielder Baumgartner: I want to sincerely apologize to Odegaard. I didn't mean to hurt him.

In the second round of the UEFA Nations League B held early yesterday morning, Norway defeated Austria 2-1. Odegaard was injured and left the field after a fight for the ball with Baumgartner. After the game, Baumgartner posted on social media to apologize to Odegaard and send his blessings.

Baumgartner wrote: "Hello everyone! I want to sincerely apologize to Odegaard. I have absolutely no intention of hurting this outstanding player. I wish him all the best and a speedy recovery! I hope he can become stronger."

After the game, the Norwegian media took a photo of Odegaard boarding the plane back to England on crutches. At 21:00 Beijing time this Sunday, Arsenal will face Tottenham in the fourth round of the Premier League in the North London Derby.
