British media: Brentford's asking price for Mbeumo exceeds 40 million pounds

According to Football Insider, Brentford has set a price of more than 40 million pounds for Liverpool and Arsenal target Mbeumo.

Brentford has no intention of selling Mbeumo in January next year, but his contract will only expire in one year after the end of this season.

In this case, Brentford may face a similar situation next summer when dealing with Ivan Toney's transfer this summer.

With his excellent performance, Mbeumo has attracted the attention of top Premier League teams. Liverpool, Arsenal and Villa have all been rumored to be interested in him.

Football Insider said that Brentford will not sell Mbeumo in January, however, if he is unwilling to renew his contract, this may weaken Brentford's position next summer.

Mbeumo has made 203 appearances for Brentford, scoring 53 goals and providing 42 assists.
