Former international: De Ligt's performance was poor, it would be reasonable to end his national team career

Former Dutch international Van Hooijdonk said in an interview that De Ligt's performance in the Dutch team was very bad, and it would be a reasonable result that his national team career has ended.

De Ligt played for the Netherlands against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Germany during this international match day, but made mistakes in both games.

Speaking of De Ligt's performance, Van Hooijdonk said: "De Ligt's performance was too bad. It is a reasonable result that his national team career has ended. We all think he is a very good player, but how often do we see such mistakes in the Dutch national team?"

"Such a situation must stop at some point, especially when you have competitors in the same position in high-level competitions."
