After completing surgery on Monday, Barcelona youngster Bernal was discharged from the hospital today.

In the third round of La Liga, Barcelona played away against Rayo Vallecano. The team's 17-year-old youngster Bernal was injured in a fight at the end of the game. After testing, Bernal's left anterior cruciate ligament was torn, plus lateral meniscus damage.

Bernal underwent surgery on Monday. According to Barcelona officials, he will be out for about a year.
