Italian media: Compared with Genoa, Juventus defender Muharremovic is closer to Sassuolo

According to Italian media Tutto Mercato, despite long negotiations with Genoa, Juventus young defender Muharemovic now seems to be closer to joining Sassuolo.

In addition to signings, Juventus's director of defense and sports, Giuntoli, has been dealing with redundancies in the team, including some of Juventus' new generation of players, and Muharemovic is one of them. The 21-year-old Slovenian central defender had previously received an invitation from Genoa and had long negotiations. He was close to joining in the form of a loan plus buyout. However, the situation has changed in recent hours. After Sassuolo intervened, the player seems to be closer to becoming a member of the latter.

Sassuolo also intends to sign Muharemovic on loan, and the deal is currently progressing very smoothly.
