Jorginho: I didn't plan to be a coach, but my mind changed after coming to Arsenal

Recently, Jorginho talked about his views on becoming a coach when he participated in a podcast program. He revealed that he did not want to be a coach at first, but after coming to Arsenal, his thoughts changed.

Jorginho said: "Because of my personality, friends and family, since I was 18-19 years old, they said: 'You want to be a coach', I thought at the time: 'What? I still have 15 years to play football, what are you talking about?'"

"Then all these years have passed, I understand how much effort it takes to be a coach, and I thought at the time, no way. I know that of course I want to be a football player, but I can't be a coach, there is no chance."

"Then I came to Arsenal and they asked me if I would like to be a coach. At first I said: 'No, I don't want to be a coach', they said: 'Are you sure? Why not do it?' "I fell in love with coaching the first time I trained, I was like: 'No, why am I coaching? Now I'm in trouble'."

"I think I'll try, yes, it's so satisfying to be on the pitch with the players, when you see things go well and the way you expect them to, it's great, it's different to be on the pitch and really see the potential in everyone."

"I think football is constantly evolving and it will always change, it never stops, when I started it was different, halfway through it was different again and when I finish it will be different too."
