Korean media: After Son Heung-min complained about the grass at South Korea's home field, fans petitioned to cancel IU's concert

Son Heung-min complained about the grass condition at the Korean home stadium during an interview. According to a report by South Korean media MoneyS, there are voices in South Korea calling for the cancellation of IU's concert.

On the 11th, a post titled "Requesting the City of Seoul to Cancel IU's Concert" was posted on an online community. The author of the post said, "As a fan who usually supports Son Heung-min, especially for his dedication to the country, I want to do my part, so I made this request through the National Complaint Platform."

"A large number of people will gather at the IU concert, and the grass condition may deteriorate further. On October 15, the World Cup qualifier between South Korea and Iraq will be held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, so we must do our best to maintain the grass management in the remaining time."

The author cited Article 5, Paragraph 3 (Restrictions on Use Permits) of the "Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of Sports Facilities in Seoul". According to the ordinance, the use permit of sports facilities can be refused or cancelled when "it is determined to have an impact on the management of the facility" or "it is determined to be necessary by the Seoul Mayor".
