The Mail revealed that Sir Ratcliffe has been shooting documentary material internally since taking over Manchester United, but will not sell it to streaming media like other clubs.
Sir Ratcliffe's decision to keep the documentary about Manchester United behind the scenes in-house seems wise given the team's poor start to the new season.
Ratcliffe invested £1.3 billion to acquire a 27.7% stake in Manchester United and took over the football operations at Old Trafford. He has been recording a video diary since taking over.
He also hired Matt Dickinson, the former chief sports reporter of The Times, to write a book recording the events.
Dickinson chatted with some old colleagues who covered the Red Devils at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Manchester United could also make it into a TV documentary, but decided not to go the same route as Manchester City, Tottenham, Arsenal and some other clubs and not sell the copyright to streaming giants such as Amazon or Netflix.
Cameras inside Manchester United are capturing behind-the-scenes footage in what could turn out to be a very smart business move for the club.
