The Scottish Premier League giants Celtic officially announced that they have officially introduced American central defender Trasti from Sheffield United in a permanent transfer. The two sides signed a 5-year contract.
The 26-year-old Trasti made his debut in Philadelphia Union. He has since played for Colorado Rapids, Arsenal and Birmingham. Last summer, Sheffield United spent 5.8 million euros to introduce him from Arsenal.
Last season, Trasti played 34 times for Sheffield United, 30 of which were as a starter.
Now the Celtics have officially confirmed that they have signed Trasti in a permanent transfer.
So far in his career, Trasti has played twice for the US national team.
