Official: Stuttgart striker Mvupa joins Red Star on loan for one year with buyout option

Official news, 25-year-old Stuttgart striker Mvupa joins Red Star Belgrade on loan, with a buyout option.

Red Star Belgrade announces that our new player Silas Katunpa Mvupa will be on loan from Stuttgart to the club for one year, with a buyout option.

Silas was born on October 6, 1998 in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He started his career in Paris, France, where he made 35 appearances, scored 11 goals and contributed two assists. Stuttgart then acted quickly and signed him, who was only 20 years old at the time and was named the best player in the French Ligue 2. In the five seasons he played for Stuttgart, he performed very well, making 132 appearances and scoring 35 goals. He has become one of our strong rivals in the Champions League and one of the best players in the entire Bundesliga.

There is no doubt that Silas is one of the fastest players in Europe, capable of playing in almost every attacking position and making the difference in big games with his athleticism. He can successfully play as a right winger, left winger, center forward and even as a midfielder at times. He has 16 caps for the Democratic Republic of Congo national team, scoring one goal, and there is no doubt that he will be a great addition to the Red Star team. (Announcement End)
