Rakitic: I was close to joining Bayern, I wanted to play with Neuer again

Recently, Rakitic said in an interview with the German transfer market that he was close to joining Bayern and he wanted to play with Neuer again.

In 2019, Rakitic was very close to returning to Germany to play and close to joining Bayern. Rakitic said: "Sometimes I feel that the deal is about to be successful, but in the end it is still far away. Unfortunately, we didn't succeed. I would like to play with Neuer again. He is a good friend of mine and I respect the Bundesliga and Bayern very much."
