Schalke II striker Kelsey Messer joins third division club Rot-Weiss Essen

Schalke II striker Kelsey Messer transfers to the German third division team Rot-Weiss Essen. Messer moved from Hamburg to Schalke U19 youth team in the summer of 2022. In Schalke's first season, Messer played 14 times in the U19 Bundesliga and scored 6 goals. He reached the final of the Youth German Cup with the team. Scored 2 goals in 5 appearances. After a year in the U19, Messer joined Schalke II in the 23/24 season and played in the Western Regional League.
