Schilla: Italy may call up Burnley winger Colleosio in the near future

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Italian national team coach Spalletti is currently observing Burnley winger Colleosho.

The 19-year-old Colleosho comes from the Spanish youth training. He plays as a left winger on the field, and can also play the role of right winger and second striker. He moved to Burnley last summer. Last season, he played 15 times for Burnley in the Premier League, contributing 1 goal and 1 assist. In the first four rounds of the Championship this season, he started 3 times and scored 1 goal.

Now according to Schira, Spalletti is currently observing Colleosho's performance. This striker may be called up by the Italian national team in the near future.

Colleosho has previously played a total of 10 times for the Italian U19, U20 and U21 national youth teams, but he also has American and Canadian citizenship. He has also played 4 times for the US U15 and was selected for the Canadian national team in September 2022.
