Spanish judge: Real Madrid used public funds to commit fraud; Bernabéu noise is a crime

Martin Palin, Honorary Judge of the Spanish Supreme Court (and a resident near the Bernabéu), discussed the possibility that Real Madrid was involved in financial fraud using public funds on a TVE program.

Parin said: "Real Madrid is using public funds to carry out financial fraud through parking lots and some non-football and sports activities. They may even face problems with UEFA."

He further pointed out that "the noise at the Bernabéu is a crime against the environment. According to technicians, it is almost impossible to soundproof the Bernabéu."

Palin added: "There have been some similar judgments. In addition, the mayor of Madrid also has some responsibility... I hope there will be a buffer period to see if this problem can be solved."
