Ugarte: Manchester United promised to sign me before, I have to prove it

Ugarte said in an interview that he would try to prove himself in the next game.

Ugarte was Manchester United's transfer target this summer, but the Red Devils and Paris Saint-Germain finally finalized the deal after a long negotiation.

Although Ugarte's joining was announced in the final stage of the summer window, Manchester United did not let him catch up with the Premier League with Liverpool.

Ugarte said: "The past month has been complicated because the negotiations on the deal have been difficult."

"Manchester United had promised to sign me before, and now I have to prove it all."

Manchester United paid a transfer fee of 50 million euros for Ugarte, in addition to a floating fee of 10 million euros.
